I was born in 1992 in Lincoln, Nebraska. I grew up primarily in Lincoln, but also spent a total of two and a half years living in various cities throughout Germany, where my parents were both doing research. As I adjusted to socializing in my second language, drawing became my way of initiating conversations and sparking friendships. Communicating through art remains an important part of my life in the work I now do as a designer and illustrator. I love the dialogue and collaboration that goes into bringing an idea to life.

Over the years, I have continued refining my craft as an artist, adding graphic design, painting and animation to my skillset. The newest tool in my arsenal has been coding, which I have applied in making this website. It was built from the ground up in Visual Studio Code, using HTML, CSS and jQuery.
